Tata Motors - Head - Employee Relations (15-20 yrs)

Position Summary:

- To lead the Employee Relations function at the plant location by establishing and executing location level ER priorities in consultation with the various stakeholders so as to build organizational capability provide insights and support on various labour related issues and career development of the employees.

Job Responsibilities:

- Establish and execute location level ER priorities in consultation with Business Heads, Shop heads, Corp ER taking into consideration the external environment, location challenges, past reflections and organization goal

- Work closely with the Corporate ER and location ER counterparts in strategy formulation and project
implementation

- Identify labour risks in the location and put in place strategies to mitigate the same.

- Plan and execute wage negotiations, Bonus settlements, union elections and other critical items as and when they are due, managing industrial relations, analysing and interpreting bargaining trends and issues.

- Represent management in negotiations and dispute resolution procedures with employees, unions, employer bodies, government agencies, labour authorities, and other relevant agencies so that the organization’s interests are protected

- Continuously improve the ER processes to make them current with the business requirements

- Develop capability of the ER teams at the location

- Drive capability building and skill building agenda within the location in line with the identified training needs.

- Contract workforce/Labour management

- Statutory Compliance : Monitoring Statutory compliance such as ESI,PF, Minimum wages, maternity benefit, Bonus Act & Submission of returns

- Management of Statutory and Non Statutory Welfare Programs
