Senior Manager (F & A) - Shared Services

Job Purpose : To manage the F & A - shared services function for distribution business.


Function : Finance & Accounts

Level/ Band : L1 (Senior Manager)

Key Responsibilities :


- Responsible for accounting & communication for Distribution function in Africa

- Documentation and mapping of the business processes

- Resource planning & change management in case of migration

- Scoping of the work of the shared services team

- Drafting and finalizing SLAs

- Working as per agreed SLA's with respective teams / functions for timely delivery

- Drafting the JDs for interviewing & hiring people for the shared services team

- Overseeing of the entire operations and analysis of the reports

- Handling the migration activities for more than 13 countries

- Ensure general accounting in Navision as per the applicable GAAP for all the three entities in line with the agreed SLAs (Service Level Agreement)

- Handling entire back office accounting, operations & ensure timely activities of accounts payable, accounts receivable & record to report etc

- Handling accounts reconciliation & scrutiny of accounts

- Consolidation of monthly accounts

- Statutory Compliances

Desired Profile :

- C.A. with 12-14 yrs of experience, preferably from trading background. Prior experience of working in a shared services environment would be preferred.

Educational Qualifications : C.A.

Relevant years of Experience : 12-14 years

Competencies :


- Team Management, Leadership quality to lead and motivate the team

- Knowledge of processes & strong process orientation

- Effective communicator (oral, written, presentation and listening)

- Analytical ability for decision support (understanding and resolving problems, data analysis)

- Planning and organizing skills (time management, eye for detail, coordination and follow up)

- Business acumen (understanding of business processes)

- Navision, MS office

Reports To(Name) : CFO - Distribution

Direct Reports : Distribution shared service team

Industry Preference : Trading

Location and Vertical : Mumbai / Distribution
