Tata International - Manager - Legal (6-8 yrs)
Job Purpose:- The job holder is responsible for drafting/reviewing contracts/documents etc. and ensuring appropriate legal support to businesses
Key Responsibilities:-
- Review and Drafting of mutually agreeable terms and conditions for commercial contracts with customers, intermediaries, suppliers and other third party
- Handling Litigation's, arbitration's, coordination with Indian and international law firms
- Submission of reports/MIS/litigation updates, contract trackers to the Department on monthly & quarterly basis
- Draft all legal notices/demands & reply to the statutory requirements
- Handle the litigation management software tool
Educational Qualification:-
- Lawyer LLB-additional qualifications in Shipping/finance/accounting/secretarial/property laws/IPR will be a bonus
Desired Profile:-
- 6-8 yrs of experience in similar experience
- Excellent knowledge of International laws and property related laws
- Experience of working in Excel
- Experience in trading industry viz minerals, Agri - will be preference
Must have competencies/Skills:-
- Domain expertise (In depth legal knowledge of Indian laws, Working experience in international law, Regulatory laws/rules pertaining to ports, Agri, minerals industry, common law system, litigation, compliances, contracting)
- Business understanding and commercial acumen
- Stakeholder management
- Communication skills (Oral & written)
- Ability to deal with sensitive information and time management
- Ability to provide independent advice (orally and in writing) to senior level management/internal customers on highly technical matters;
- Demonstrate success in managing and conducting a variety of litigation matters; Coordinating with Indian and overseas law firms to deliver results
- Good planning and organization skills; and
- Proven ability to delicately solve sensitive matters.
