- This position of an IT Project Manager requires the person to coordinate for activities of various IT Projects. The person will be responsible for overseeing the planning, implementation, and tracking of IT projects within an organization, ensuring that they are completed on time, within budget, and meet business objectives.

- The IT Project Manager will work closely with cross-functional teams to identify and mitigate project risks, define project scope, and ensure that project deliverables meet the organization's quality standards.

- He/She will be part of the TIL Technology Team. The role requires an interface with peers in the Systems and the leaders of the business units for various initiative tracking and updates.

- For daily operational/functional activities, it is a simple and flat structure and has aspects of a matrix or project organization.


- This role demands the person to be comfortable with a non-hierarchical technology department, the focus being performance teams. On a project, reporting relationships will vary based on the assigned role.


- All team members within the Technology Team would work for multiple business verticals within the larger organization, though they would align to the central corporate IT function.

- The entire information technology (IT) infrastructure is deployed and managed from the corporate location in Mumbai, where this role will be based.

Role & Responsibility:

- Define project scope, goals, and deliverables in collaboration with senior management and stakeholders

- Track, Monitor, and Control Multiple IT projects of varying complexities.

- Have a strong focus on people, negotiation, and problem resolutions abilities

- Taking charge of planning, monitoring, and reporting the status of the project to all stakeholders.

- Should have a strong understanding of SDLC and should be able to apply the same in project delivery.

- Should be able to manage projects using various methodologies like Waterfall, Agile, or Scrum depending upon the nature and need of the project

- To act as a bridge between Business, Delivery Partner, and Management.

- Responsible for keeping the project on track from schedule, scope, and budget perspective

- Maintaining and tracking documentation (FRDs, FDDs, RTM - Traceability Doc, Use cases, Tests results, etc) signoffs, and User Manuals

- Ensure project risks are identified and mitigated through proactive planning and risk management techniques

- Identify and manage project dependencies and critical path activities

- Establish project communication channels and regularly report project progress to stakeholders

- Serve as a primary point of contact in all the important stages of the project cycle to project stakeholders

- Ensure project team members understand their roles and responsibilities

- Facilitate team meetings, identify action items, and track progress to ensure project milestones are met

- Manage project changes and scope creep, assessing the impact of changes on project timelines, budgets, and resources

- Ensure project deliverables meet quality standards and are delivered on time

- Ensure project closure activities are completed, including post-project evaluations, documentation, and knowledge transfer to support teams

- Ensure PMO practices are followed and milestones and formally signed off via DocuSign

Education:

- Bachelor's degree

- Any IT certifications will be an added advantage

- Bachelor's or master's degree in computer science, information technology, or a related field

- PMP, PRINCE2, or other project management certification is preferred

Experience:

- 5+ years of experience in IT project management or related field

- Experience managing complex IT projects across multiple functional areas and/or geographic locations

- Experience in an IT organization or within IT function would be preferred

- Understanding of commercial transactions, contracts

- Experience with project management tools, such as Microsoft Project, Jira, etc

- Knowledge of Agile and Waterfall project management methodologies

- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines and changing priorities

- Experience working with cross-functional teams and stakeholders at all levels of the organization

- Team player with good communication and interpersonal skills

- Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills

- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
