About the role: The Training Instructor will be a key member of the Operations/ Training team responsible for imparting high-quality training programs to TIIS trainees.
Responsibilities
- Preparing and imparting high-quality robotics training to students.
- Coordination with training partners for assessment planning and execution
- Understand the robotics curriculum and methodologies from the training partners and create a unique pedagogy for future training at TIIS campuses.
- Coordinate scheduling, testing, evaluation, and certification of trainees
- Actively seek current training methods and best practices to facilitate training.
- Create online and offline training materials to augment learning outcomes for trainees.
- Share trainee feedback to the training manager
Education, Skills, and/or Work Experience Requirements:
- Graduate Engineer (or equivalent) in Electrical/Electronics/Instrumentation with 5-7 years of experience in ROBOTIC/PLC programming/ commissioning for discrete automation projects
- Good experience with programming and commissioning a range of industrial robots including Fanuc and ABB. Familiarity with Co-bots is an added advantage
- Experience in robotics training delivery both Theory & Practice
- Familiarity with traditional and modern training methods (mentoring, coaching, on-the-job or in-classroom training, e-learning, workshops, simulations, etc.)
- Experience in UL, RIA standards, and requirements towards implementing the same in the electrical and controls designs.
