About the role: The Training Instructor will be a key member of the Operations/ Training team responsible for imparting high quality training programs to TIIS trainees.
Responsibilities:
- Preparing and imparting high quality technical training to students.
- Coordination with training partners for assessment planning and execution
- Understand the curriculum and methodologies from the training partners and create a unique pedagogy for future trainings at TIIS campuses.
- Coordinate scheduling, testing, evaluation, and certification of trainees
- Actively seek current training methods and best practices to facilitate training.
- Create online and offline training materials to augment learning outcomes for trainees.
- Share trainee feedback to the training manager
- Provide inputs to the training manager to identify new programs and industries of interest for skill-based job opportunities.
Education, Skills and/or Work Experience Requirements:
- Graduate Engineer (or equivalent) with 10-15 years' experience in manufacturing
- Recent shop floor experience will be a big plus.
- Specialization in Mechatronics & Industrial automation is preferred.
- Experience in technical training delivery both Theory & Practice
- Familiarity with traditional and modern training methods (mentoring, coaching, on-the-job or in classroom training, e-learning, workshops, simulations etc)
- Candidates within the age group of 30-40 are preferred.
