Job Description:

- Credit risk assessment of non-financial corporates (listed entities, private companies and proprietorship firms) across diverse sectors in the trade credit insurance vertical

- Assess and analyze the creditworthiness of a portfolio of buyers (customers) that trade with the policy holder

- Assign risk ratings and credit limits for every buyer in the portfolio as per request received from the policy holder

- Work on risk assessments of buyers in potential prospects as required by the commercial underwriter

- Liaise with commercial underwriters, clients and brokers to communicate final decisions on credit limits - thoroughly explain the rationale for approvals

- Maintain agreed TATs for communicating limit decisions and adhere to underwriting guidelines and processes

- Continuously monitor the assigned limits and exposures on entities for any negative or adverse news, and take corrective calls on exposures accordingly

- Maintain a detailed MIS of the portfolio that you would be responsible for

- Support senior underwriters and risk head with knowledge materials, presentations to clients and other external stakeholders

- Credit analysts in banks or NBFCs who have worked on trade credit, WC loans or other short term financing

- Credit/rating analysts in credit rating agencies

- Credit analysts working in fixed income groups in asset management firms (MF, pension funds) or other debt capital exposure
