Business Context:

- Personal Accident and Travel Line of Business has a rich product portfolio having legacy strong products like GPA, Travel Guard, BTA and new launches like Group Accident Guard, Accident Guard Plus and Group Overseas Travel Guard.

- Business is sourced from various channels like Agency, Broking, Banca, Direct team and E-Business.

- Leveraging the faster growth, target is to increase the market share of Personal Accident portfolio and to maintain market leadership position in travel portfolio.

Job Purpose:

- Underwriting, Data management, IT systems and right process- are the key requirements for achieving the targeted objectives. The person will be responsible for risk analysis, underwriting, maintaining data & P&L of Personal Accident and/or Travel portfolio. He will also be responsible for IT systems- development, process, audit and regulatory submissions.

Roles and Responsibilities:

- Underwriting - Analysis of data submitted by channels/ client; Risk mapping; Premium computation

- Maintain Data and cater to the requirements of UW team and other stakeholders

- Proactively identify system changes, new development to improve efficiency, digitalization and compliance adherence and coordinate with PDQ /IT to get the same implemented

- Monitor and ensure timely release of Renewal Notice ; Tracking of retention % and follow up with respective channels

Desired Candidate Profile:

- Relevant experience in Portfolio Management

- Experience in data management with good analytical bend of mind

- Understanding of systems

- Understanding of Insurance Products

- Insurance P& L Knowledge product portfolio analysis

- Knowledge about Insurance Regulations
