Risk Management- (Specialization -Enterprise Risk)

Business Context:

Enterprise Risk Management ("ERM") is a strategic business discipline that supports the achievement of an organization's objectives by addressing the full spectrum of risks and managing the combined impact of those risks as an interrelated risk portfolio. ERM provides a framework for risk management, which typically involves identifying particular events or circumstances relevant to the organization's objectives (threats and opportunities), assessing them in terms of likelihood and magnitude of impact, determining a response strategy, and monitoring process.

Accountabilities:

- Assessment of financial risk and insurance risk indicators at quarterly intervals.

- Design and monitoring of the key risk indicators with limits and thresholds at the process level

- Conducting risk control self-assessments of the critical processes and issuing the risk review reports under the guidance of the CRO

- Preparing risk dashboards and reports

- Co-ordinate organization wide data collection, analysis and inputs for preparation of various management reporting related to Risk Management activities

- Tracking new lead risk indicators through data reports

- Keeping track of new risks which will affect the company and maintain a register of the same.

- Participate as team member in conducting ongoing Risk Reviews of all functions across the organisation and ensure timely closure.

- Ensure closure of loops and quick turnaround of open topics

- Facilitate the organisation wide communication / awareness efforts covering Risk topics on ongoing basis.

Qualifications: 2-3 years of relevant experience in Audit /risk functions in general Insurance companies.

CA/MBA Fin (Insurance), Insurance Certifications from III preferable.
