Hiring for the position of Business Analyst - PEG

PEG focusses on driving new initiatives through a formal and robust methodology and tool set. The PEG team supports the needs of Consumer and Commercial Line, Distribution, Operations and Systems and coordinates automation and processes change projects needed in the implementation of the agreed portfolio of initiatives. The team acts on behalf of management in the selection and delivery of projects which meet business objectives.

Responsibility Area & Nature :

The candidate will be liaising with various business SMEs to understand business requirements and translate them into functional specifications. The candidate should have the ability to participate in Requirements Definition and Functional Specification exercises on system enhancements & new projects, as a Business Analyst: The major responsibilities will be:

- The primary responsibility is to elicit, analyze, validate & specify the real needs of the project stakeholders, including customers and end users

- The BA will work with different User department and at a high level of quality in a timely manner.

- Basic level of expertise in overall systems design and will be knowledgeable about the basic concepts of general insurance business.

- Actively participate in requirement reviews to ensure compatibility and interoperability of computing systems.

- Basic Understanding of Insurance Industry strategies - New Business, multi-channel structures, Distribution setup, Policy Servicing approach, etc.

- Exposure to Functional Testing

Education Qualification :

- BE/BTech & MBA with Good Academics(First Class Career) with 1 to10 years work experience in General Insurance Sector

- Knowledge of any Core Insurance Systems will be an added advantage.
