Responsibilities: - Analyze raw data: assessing quality, cleansing, structuring for downstream processing - Design accurate and scalable prediction algorithms - Collaborate with internal teams to generate actionable insights for business improvements Qualification &amp; Skills set required: - Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in quantative field (Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Engineering, etc.) - At least 1 - 2 years' of experience in quantitative analytics or data modeling - 2+ years in a Machine Learning/Advanced Analytics environment pushing production- level code - Deep understanding of predictive modeling, machine-learning, clustering and classification techniques, and algorithms - Fluency in a programming language (Python, C,C++, Java, SQL) - Familiarity with Big Data frameworks and visualization tools (Cassandra, Hadoop, Spark, Tableau) - Passion to answer Product and Strategy questions with data. - A deep understanding of numbers, as well as a strong business sense. - Learning/Advanced Analytics techniques such as regression, classification, clustering - Analytics tools experience (such as Pandas, R, SQL, or PYSpark) - Experience performing analysis with large datasets - Demonstrated capacity for developing and understanding strategy - Capability of tackling very loosely defined problems - Needs to be a communicative person that values building strong relationships with colleagues and stakeholders and have the ability to explain complex topics in simple terms.
