Talent & Succession Management Lead - Oil & Energy Sector - Consulting Firm (10-15 yrs)

Our client, one of the global consulting firms is looking for a Talent & Succession Management Lead on contract for 1-2 years.

Key Responsibilities:

- As the Talent & Succession Management Lead, you will plan, design, and implement the operating model, design global processes on Talent and Succession Management. You will be part of an integrated program team and expected to provide deep expertise to a blended team with representation from the client to support building internal capability.

Key Responsibilities:

Talent Management:

- Complete the definition & build of the Learning Institute Operating Model in support of the 'to be' Global Process Owner area.

- Building on the L1 - L3 Talent Value Chain already designed, Map the processes from L4 - L6 for all in scope areas. Bringing external best practice input for consideration. Utilizing Process standards. Scope is all value chain elements from Competency, Assessment, Development & Succession.

- Identify all existing client's People Development Policies that support the process and review, update and amend and drive to approval

- Templates, Tools and Frameworks - define the set of templates, forms and handoffs that need to be in place to support smooth operation of the Talent Value Chain

- Work in proactive partnership with the Functional Requirements team to map, prioritize and manage new functional requirements as a result of the client's Learning Institute's Operating Model

- Detail the governance framework to support decision making in the end state model.

Succession Management:

- A matured approach to Group wide succession management has been defined & approved. A skilled project lead is required to support the further definition and implementation of the group wide approach to Succession Management . This individual will be embedded with the existing Succession Management Project Manager to drive the implementation for 1Q 2022

- Work in partnership with the other Stream Leads to build out the Succession Management

- Policy and L4 - L6 processes for Succession Management.

- Support the design, build and implement the key enabling tools as required by the process, 9 Box Grid, PDP.

- Support the rollout of the annual talent calendar, manage the integration requirements with performance to ensure the process as operationalized is clear

- Build the implementation plan for roll out across all group companies. Manage a clear accountability matrix to ensure business as usual and transformation activities are covered as the Academies are formed.

- Support the scheduling of all upskill activities and workshops for Succession Management implementation

Candidate Specifications:

- Full-time MBA from a premier institute

- 10+ years- relevant work experience in HR function with expertise in Talent and Succession Management and proven track with reputed organizations.

- Prior consulting experience in Talent Management and Succession Management areas will be preferred.

- Experience in HR Transformation and driving change will be an advantage

- Ability to manage projects with tight timelines and delivery of measurable outcomes

- Good understanding of various areas in HR

- Dynamic, motivated, flexible and result-oriented personality with the ability to perform under pressure

- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills

- Good at multi-tasking
