About the Role:
Our client, a rapidly scaling Global Capability Center (GCC), is seeking an experienced Talent Acquisition Leader to shape and drive the hiring strategy for its India operations. The ideal candidate will bring a mix of strategic thinking, execution excellence, and strong stakeholder management while building a robust, future-ready TA function.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Talent Acquisition Strategy:
- Develop and execute the end-to-end TA strategy aligned with global workforce plans and GCC expansion goals.
- Build scalable hiring models for Technology, Digital, Data, Cybersecurity, Corporate & Shared Services roles.
- Create proactive talent pipelines for niche skill sets and future demand.
2. Leadership & Team Management:
- Lead and mentor a high-performing TA team across sourcing, recruitment operations, and campus hiring.
- Drive a culture of ownership, agility, data-driven decision-making, and continuous improvement.
3. Stakeholder Partnership:
- Work closely with global and India business leaders to define hiring needs, workforce plans, and demand forecasting.
- Advise leaders on market insights, compensation trends, talent movements, and sourcing strategy.
- Build trusted relationships with global HRBPs, CoEs, and functional heads.
4. Hiring Execution:
- Manage end-to-end hiring for lateral, leadership, and niche roles across the GCC.
- Implement best practices in sourcing, assessment, and selection.
- Drive strong governance around process, quality, TAT, cost, and candidate experience.
5. Campus & Early Talent Programs:
- Build and manage relationships with top-tier institutions (IIMs, IITs, NITs, and leading universities).
- Lead internship programs, management trainee programs, and rotational development tracks.
- Strengthen employer branding on campuses and professional platforms.
6. Employer Branding & Talent Marketing:
- Partner with global branding teams to enhance the GCCs employer value proposition.
- Drive digital talent marketing campaigns, events, hackathons, and thought-leadership initiatives.
- Position the GCC as a top employer for tech and specialized talent.
7. Tools, Analytics & Process Excellence:
- Drive adoption of ATS, CRM tools, and automation solutions.
- Implement standardized frameworks for interviews, competency mapping, and hiring calibration.
- Maintain dashboards for hiring metrics (TAT, QoH, source mix, DEI, offer drop-offs, funnel health).
8. Compliance & Vendor Management:
- Ensure adherence to global compliance, local labor laws, data privacy norms, and audit requirements.
- Manage and optimize external vendor partnerships, staffing agencies, and search firms.
Candidate Profile:
Qualifications:
- MBA / PGDM from Tier-1 institutions preferred (IIM/ISB/XLRI/TISS/MDI etc.).
- 10-18 years of progressive experience in Talent Acquisition, with substantial experience in GCCs or global MNCs.
Experience & Skills:
- Strong experience in hiring for Product, Engineering, Cloud, Data, Cybersecurity, Analytics, and Corporate roles.
- Proven capability to scale TA functions during hypergrowth phases.
- Hands-on experience with TA analytics, forecasting, and process maturity.
- Excellent stakeholder management with leaders across US/EU/APAC time zones.
- Strong people management, communication, influencing, and problem-solving skills.
- Experience building campus programs and employer branding strategies.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, global, matrixed environment.
