Senior Manager - eCommerce - International Retail Brands Segment

Location: Bangalore

Reports to: CEO, Tablez India.

Role Summary :

This role is accountable for developing and implementing the online sales & marketing strategy in line with the Tablez India strategy and works closely with Business head to ensure profitable growth of all assigned brands in E-Commerce platform. Manage all aspects of Marketing Analytics related to e-commerce and provide guidance & directions to the Business head, in executing business strategy.

Responsibilities: 

- Management of sales and margin for all online channel

- Responsible for Sales & Margins for all Online channel as per the national plan, and drive it by focusing on New Business Development.

- Timely introduction and listing of new online lines

- Liasoning with various stakeholders such as Marketing, Category Team, Logistics, Inventory, Commercial and IT.

- Approach and activate Key Accounts based out of Bangalore.

Vendor & Category coordination:

- Coordinate with the category teams to collect information on new line/ brand introduction.

- Follow up with brands and vendors for new listing formalities such as filled up attribute sheets, tax masters et

- Coordinate with the team to complete the product photography or gather relevant pictures from the vendors / brands.

- Discuss pricing and discount structures with Category based on market intelligence.

- Liaise with the IT & MDM team for product upload.

Marketing & Promotions:

- Liaise with the Marketing for all promotion communications.

- Management and negotiation for banners / promotions / brand pages in the e-commerce website.

- Ensure brand articles are featuring in the top in all searches.

- Maximise Online Marketing Promotions such as Brand store, Amazon Marketing services.

- Send Budget approval for Online Marketing to Marketing Manager and get approvals.

- Run Amazon Marketing services for all New and Focussed brands.

Market Intelligence:

- Tracking and providing feedback to category on product performance, consumer expectations, competition plans, changing markets scenario, etc.

- Track all new launches and brand pages on other e-commerce websites.

- Analysing historic data and identifying trends, Strategic direction from the company and thereby formulating a business plan.

Orders & Deliveries:

- Track all orders on a daily basis and ensure timely dispatches and deliveries to customers.

- Track on return shipments (if any)

Inventory Planning:

- Liaise with the respective category managers and merchandisers to ensure stock availability for all articles listed in the various site.

- Planning the inventory based on multiple factors such as forecast, past trends, sales etc, using techniques like Base stock fixing & Price fixing.

- Coordination with the logistics team on inventory management.

- Coordinate with all e-commerce players to update on stocks availability and ensure that the site is updated on the same on a daily base.

- Planning for New season launch- Carry out Merchandise planning, despatch schedule, product flow product and sales training, etc.

Reconciliation & Payments:

- Financial Reconciliation of all E-com portals on a daily basis

- Maintain record of Returns

- Pull out Weekly Reports from each portal to understand whether daily reports are tallying with weekly reports

- Float a weekly Dashboard of Sales, Commission & Returns to the Relevant Business Head, E-Com Manager and Finance Team.

- Update Inventory on Portals which are not integrated with the relevant portal

- Co-ordinate with the Pickup Locations (Warehouse & Stores) to ensure returns are being monitored and the necessary process is being followed.

- Ensure smooth & successful payment cycle within period as stipulated in the company policy.

This is a lead position responsible for generating online Sales, Manage the website, lead a small team and meeting online Sales Target for the Business.
