Purpose - To analyze and validate the business requirements for the specific application - To develop system specifications and test the system against the specifications/business scenarios provided - To co-ordinate the development effort for medium to large size Projects/Change Requests Accountabilities - Review/validate functional and user interface design specifications provided by Business Analysts - Work with Project Manager, Business, Business Engagement and Solution Architects to identify suitable options and review these to identify the most suitable - Gather, document and maintain the necessary information to enable the project team to undertake the Project/CR and deliver successfully - Document proposed changes to the requirements and solution to enable impact analysis and revised business case, specifications - Develop the processes necessary to efficiently operate the proposed solution including user guides, manuals, training materials and implementation and data conversion aids. - Work with Business and IT to enable thorough testing and successful implementation of the solution - Demonstrate application functionality, solicit feedback and ensure that project sponsor requirements are met Deliver & Support - Resolve, recover and close application related incidents - Perform root cause analysis for application related problems - Resolve application related problems - Issue recommendations for improvement and create a related request for change [application related] - Maintain application related problem records, known problems, known errors and workarounds - Resolve server related problems Key Interfaces - Applications Delivery & Management Lead - IT Project Manager, Business Project Manager - Business Analyst - Solution Architect - Developers, Designers and Test team - Infra Team - Software/Hardware vendors
