Role : D&I Lead APAC   Job Description :   About Job :   - Consult with business leaders to understand and drive the data and analytics strategy  - Act as single point of contact for stakeholders to receive information on data & analytics related programs, projects, and process activities  - Provide leadership and expertise in order to challenge, support, enable and improve business performance through data & analytics  - Provide expertise to deliver change and support the early phases of projects  - Identify opportunities resulting from situational changes such as new regulation, data insights, new business situations  - Identify changing business needs that may lead to the requirement for change or improvements in data & analytics  - Champion global data & analytics solutions with a consistently applied set of methods, tools, and techniques  - Design agile and sustainable data & analytics solutions to support the introduction of new business models  - Collaborate with other members of the global data and information community to support the reporting strategy and roadmap.  - Ensure that business reporting requirements in scope are designed to be scalable and follow best industry practice.  - Keep track of the latest industry trends for reporting and analytics.  - Advertise the implementation of QlikView as agile analytics platform for advanced users in APAC  List any specific deliverables/ projects within the role :   - Develop a data & analytics roadmap for the region APAC  - List any Functional or Leadership Competency related specifically to this job  Client Service Focus : This is the ability to see life from the perspective of the client to deeply understand client motivation. Creates an environment for honest and open discussion of issues.  Qualifications :   Essential :  - 15+ years of experience in the area of enterprise business information and reporting & analytics  - Knowledge of process manufacturing/chemical industry  - Previously managed large BI projects and team of BI consultants  - Worked as a consultant for BI directly with customers  - Good communicator and influencer. Is able to convey BI in layman's language to senior stakeholders  - Has worked for a multinational and been exposed to multiple cultures  - SAP BW, BO, QlikView  Desirable :  - Tableau, SFDC Wave  - LEAN/Six Sigma qualification  - Lived abroad previously  Minimum education and critical knowledge required for the job :   - University IT degree, MBA  - LEAN/Six Sigma qualification  Experience to be gained on the job :  - Manage a relatively young corporate BI team which is accountable for governance and project support  - Creating sustainable client relationships  - Innovating the Syngenta EBI landscape Leading a team  Potential next jobs :  - Lateral moves to other teams in the Data & Information space  - Lateral move to a Business Process Lead role in a different geography
