Synergy Consulting - Senior Associate - Financial Advisory (3-5 yrs)
Delivery of Transactions :
- Drive,design and development of solutions for clients by understanding their needs, gathering information, conducting analysis and generating insights in order to enable design of best solutions for clients
- Deliver independently/ review high quality work of the team in following areas in order to meets clients expectations on timeliness, accuracy and completeness
1) Develop/ review financial models and conduct scenario and sensitivity analysis, ensuring compliance with project documents and applicable accounting & taxation practices
2) Conduct/ review business valuations and investment analysis through due diligence and valuations exercises
3) Design/ review financing structures using various debt and equity instruments to ensure optimal capital structure and bankability of projects
4) Conduct/ review contract analysis specifically for Project Financing structures
- Prepare and review reports, information memoranda, summary and presentations as required by the nature of assignments
- Negotiate with project stakeholders (banks/ financial institutions, contractors, and third parties) in order to get their buy-in on Synergy's point of view/ recommendations
Client Management :
- Interacts with client representatives to plan for delivery, gather information and review deliverables
- Develops network with existing clients and leverages the network to receive feedback/ support when required and
overcome challenges.
Business Development :
- Participates in business development meetings and identifies clients' needs in order to acquire skills and experience
in business development conversations
- Contributes in designing solutions and proposal documents to enable the team win the transaction
Team Development :
- Guides team members to understand clients' needs and create deliverable in order to enable them deliver
transactions
- Reviews deliverables, provides inputs and feedback to team members in order to ensure delivery of best quality work and develop team members
- Recognize strengths and development areas of team members and share this information with Associate Directors regularly
Work experience with banks or funds or similar advisory entities. Experience in infra/ project finance is preferable
- Knowledge on financial models and contract analysis
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Strong analytical skills and ability to work under pressure
- Ability to work in multicultural environments and multidisciplinary team
- Attention for detail
