About the Work: - Analyze startups and their attributes such as business model, customers, business performance, competitors, etc. - Use alternative data to gauge the health and overall performance of the company and the industry - Prepare reports and mailer to communicate qualitative and data-driven insights to clients - Brainstorm on how to use alternative data as a proxy for a company's performance (e.g. predicting number of cars sold by Tesla last year, the number of policies underwritten by a private insurer, etc.) - Keep a track of investment landscape and on-going trends in different sectors Requirements: &nbsp;Candidate should ideally have 2-3 years of experience in one of the following: - Market Research - Consulting Firms - Startup - Investment research services - Should have a basic understanding of the VC industry and the startup ecosystem - Should be able to analyze data and summarise it into a story - Being self-starter and autonomous. You should be able to take a task and make it a reality. - Exemplary planning and time management skills - Ability to multitask and prioritize daily workload - High level verbal and written communications skills
