Role and responsibilities : - The role offers a front row seat to developments in the Venture Capital and Tech investments eco system and how alternative data is transforming the world of investments - You will be responsible for undertaking research and creating reports on sectors and companies that enable VC funds in identifying interesting investment opportunities. Some key aspects of the role would involve: - Synthesising information from alternative data and financial statements to generate insights - Disseminate the insights through different mediums like reports, newsletters, blogs - Take complete ownership of the research process including data extraction, analysis, report creation and distribution - Continuous monitoring of relevant sectors and companies - Work across teams to coordinate other aspects of our marketing outreach inc. working with Research team, Product team and Sales team - Track companies and sector on the verge of a breakout - Excited? Check out our highly sort-after reports and insights on: https://synaptic.com/resources.html, https://synaptic.com/insights.html What are we looking for : - You can create amazing reports in Powerpoint and work like a Ninja while analysing data in Excel - Basic understanding of financial statements and aptitude for analysing data - Fluent in spoken and written English - You are fascinated by Venture Capital and Tech investments ecosystem - You own your work Background : Educational qualification: MBA in Finance / B.Tech (graduates from 2016 onwards) - At least 1 year of relevant experience in areas like equity/financial research, investment banking, investment research, consulting, market research. We are open to more experienced candidates as well and designation will be based on past experience and background.
