Symbo's POSP business is creating an India wide network of agents/partners in a completely digital manner: partner acquisition, signup, training, sales, engagement with partner, end customer engagement and servicing. Job Description - The Product Manager (PM) will work closely with engineering team to guide ideas and features for Symbo, from conception to launch. - The main job for the PM will be to understand the end customer and build products that cater to their needs. - As the PM you will also have to be bridge between multiple parties - engineering, sales operations, back office operations, finance, to name just a few, to simplify business requirements into product features. As the PM, you will be part of shaping road map of front end features, sales operations automation as well as back end processes. - The PM is expected to be highly data driven in terms of all the recommendations/guidance that the PM provides. The PM has a bias toward action and can break down complex problems into simple steps that can help engineering to develop at lightening speed. Job duties: &nbsp;Main duties would include: - Product road mapping/Feature request prioritization and documentation - Lead multiple experiments to understand customer needs - Conduct quarterly user research: focused group, survey and customer behaviour exercises - Assesses market competition by comparing the company's product to competitors' products - Management reporting - by collating data from multiple departments, liaising with different stakeholders and sources. Weekly duties would include: - Calls to partners/customers to determine needs, experience and feedback - Raising tickets for tech team based on customer and partner feedback - Raising tickets for tech team based on internal ops team feedback - Conceptualizing, creating and distribution partner and end customer engagement content with the help of marketing team Daily duties would include: - Retrieve, analyse and understand data and report insights to management - App testing Product Manager Skills and Qualifications: - 3-5 yrs, proven working experience in product management or design experience with a focus on software products and technologies. Used to rolling up sleeves and getting work done. - Knowledgeable across multiple functional areas such as product management, UI/UX, engineering, marketing or finance. - Adept in handling large sets of numbers and distill customer insights/behaviour from the data. - Proven track record of managing all aspects of a successful product throughout its lifecycle. - Proven ability to develop product and marketing strategies. - Bachelors degree in engineering with some software development experience. Sound technical background with understanding and/or hands-on experience in software development and web technologies will be a plus. - Skilled at working effectively with cross functional teams in a matrix Organization. - Can effectively communicate recommendations - excellent written and verbal communication skills
