In this role, you will be working as a part of the CFO office at Swiggy and will be in a unique position with visibility into the overall business. This will allow you to reach insights others might not be able to make. In addition to driving and supporting our financial planning, forecasting, and analysis efforts, you- ll have the opportunity to turn these insights into initiatives, running with them and helping drive strategic decisions. Your role will entail the following: Investor relations: - Handling interactions with current and potential late stage private equity funds and global tech investors, including participating and conducting regular business update calls, managing communication between the management and investors, preparation of Board updates and handling reporting requirements Financial planning and analysis: - Work closely with the finance organization and business leaders to develop financial forecasts and operational goals, apply business judgment and financial insights to help with decision making Investment strategy: - Help the leadership in defining ROIs of multiple verticals and support in driving optimum investment strategy. Sophisticated financial modeling: Build models from scratch, improve existing models, break complex models down into components and consolidate - Business partnering: Act as the primary point of contact for senior leaders (including forecasting, goal setting and business case support) - Think strategically and execute: The models we build aid in decision making and strategy - we operationalize our insights - Special projects: New initiatives always come up, you will have the chance to be on the forefront for most new business initiatives and help drive them to adoption Desired Skills:- - 5 years experience - Consulting firms / High-growth and highly-dynamic start up environments preferred - Excellent communication ability - Clear and concise communication with an eye towards takeaways and next steps, whether in writing, decks or live meetings - Strong Excel skills - Your models are efficient, scalable, and intuitive - Project management and stakeholder management skills - Proactive communication, punctuality, clear timelines - Speed and balancing priorities - Many tasks, from tiny to huge, come to this role, and you must be able to execute quickly and while frequently re-prioritizing - Desire to deeply understand the business across all the different verticals - Alongside the whole Finance team, you will grow to deeply understand the different business verticals at Swiggy: our performance, targets, metrics, trends, people and challenges Educational qualifications - Chartered Accountant and / or MBA from a Premier college with experience working in finance verticals
