Swiggy - Senior Manager - Consumer Strategy (4-5 yrs)

The Consumer strategy team works towards Long-Term growth of Swiggy's Restaurant marketplace business. The ideal candidate for this role should have a passion to understand Consumer needs, be able to Problem solve, design & build offerings/ features that solve consumer needs. Swiggy has embraced Segmentation and views consumers as cohorts with different personas and having different needs. These needs vary by Food-occasion. The role expects the candidate to be sharply structure the Consumer segments- needs by occasion and build offerings accordingly.

Roles and Responsibilities: -

- Drive specific multifunctional projects related to execution of consumer strategy

- Segmented experiences - leverage our understanding of the segments to deliver differential experiences and deliver disproportionate gains on retention, frequency & UE

- Ownership and responsibility of gathering consumer intelligence to drive sharp problem statements

- Ability to scope ambiguous problems, structure them and see them through execution independently once the action plan is signed-off

- Assist in data-driven decision making by running pilots and studying experiment results

- Represent consumers within the company to drive right outcomes while working with multiple functions - Research & Insights, Product, Supply, Marketing, Cx etc.

Preferred Candidate: -

- 4-5 years of work experience across Consumer Strategy, product, consumer/shopper marketing, category management, P&L management, research and insights

- MBA from a premium institute preferred

- High level of consumer obsession, strong analytical skills and structured approach to problem solving

- Should have an over-all P&L thought process, trade-offs that need to be made and impact of various decision on different line items of the P&L

- Good influencing skills and stakeholder management skills and ability to get work done from external stakeholders

- Good project management skills to drive and keep multifunctional projects on a track with clearly defined success measures

- Creative thinker and ability to connect the dots between external research, internal data and intuition through consumer interactions

- Effective Communications Skills, both written and verbal

- Ability to work as a team player in a target driven work environment

- Ability to lead projects from conceptualization to closure, leveraging internal resources to get things done.
