Swiggy - Senior Executive - Finance (2-4 yrs)
- Assisting Assistant Manager/ Manager Finance in ensuring the accurate and timely book closure activities:
- By following up with the respective cross functions for the accrual inputs at month end
- Review of General Ledgers to verify the accuracy of posting through the month
- Co-ordinate from the cross function and inter functions team members for the book closure activities
- Placing controls and process to ensure the completeness of book closure activities
- Assisting in preparation of standalone and consolidated financial statements as per IGAAP/ Ind AS.
- Develop and implement a review mechanism in the form of analytical review template for the review of monthly- financial information.
- Preparation of schedules for the PL and BS accounts to facilitate seniors review.
- Co-ordinate and support External auditors and internal audit functions for the data and information.
- Performing reconciliation activities between various system records to books of accounts such as:
- Reconciliation of cash balance from the collection point to bank and books of accounts.
- Reconciliation of Order Management System to Ipay system for the payments to books of accounts
- Reconciliation of Delivery executive records to books to payments
- Forming part of in-house internal audit function to implement internal controls in various business functions and- to perform controls testing to evaluate the effectiveness of controls.
- Continues study of various business functions and processes to suggest the process improvements and control- implementation.
- Implementing the internal controls for ICOFR reporting and ensuring the effective functioning of the internal- controls.Desired Skills:
- CA inter or equivalent/ CA/ B.COM/ MBA degree or combination of education and experience
- Two or more years of accounting experience
- Strong knowledge in advanced Microsoft excel and continuous exploration of excel options and functionalities.
- Strong computer and business solutions software skills
- Strong interpersonal skills for interacting accountants, cross function teams, and upper management
- Good communication skills for communicating with support personnel and management
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Organize: Set priorities, develop a work schedule, monitor progress towards goals, and track details, data,information and activities.
