Being a hyperlocal food delivery business means capturing the needs of not one, but three customers - the end consumers, the restaurants and the delivery executives.

The product team works closely with engineering, design, data sciences and analytics to deliver the best possible customer experience through seamless technology solutions.

Know the Business function :

You will be working on Maps products at Swiggy. Behind every successful Swiggy delivery is a technology often taken for granted : Maps. Whether it is about predicting accurate delivery distance and ETAs or helping delivery partners navigate to the precise customer location, high-quality maps and location intelligence are essential to providing a great experience to customers, restaurants and delivery executives. 

The Maps charter builds location intelligence products that help Swiggy build a better understanding of the real world and enable optimal hyperlocal optimisations that significantly improve customer experience, growth and profitability for Swiggy.

A Product Manager at Swiggy things that we will be expecting from you :

- 1st principle thinking; the ability to build products from scratch and the vision to scale it

- A very keen product sense exhibited through decisions in the past

- Astute customer understanding; a very customer focussed approach to solving problem

- Long term thinking around creating product and execution roadmaps

- Data oriented approach, a key eye for numbers, market insights and an appetite for business context and metrics

- Flawless communication skills, the ability to articulate and evangelize product vision, strategy priority and - Go to market plans- in a compelling manner

- Owner mentality; willingness to take initiatives, the accountability to dive closure

- Tenacity and grit; the ability to hustle and get things done even over a stretch

- The ability to collaborate with cross functional teams yet the assertiveness and influence to rally people around - right- products

An ideal candidate will have :

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related fields, or equivalent practical experience. A postgraduate degree is an added plus.

- 2-5 years of hands on Product Management experience (Bonus points for tech chops!) in a Series B+ company.

- Experience in building impactful and customer facing products. Experience in building platform products is an added plus.

- Worked on complex cross functional products

- Experience in developing/enhancing products leading to massive impacts in revenue, growth, consumer experience, fulfillment etc.

- Past experience in location products /maps is a plus plus !
