Supr Daily is a hyperlocal start-up which promises on Micro-delivering milk to a consumer's doorstep early in the morning. (Micro Delivery - e.g. 1 bread loaf or 10 rs curd case 1 apple as well delivered within the orders of that area along with milk)
The company promises to deliver unadulterated milk directly from dairy farms. A note on its website reads: - 68 percent of milk in India is adulterated with water, detergent powder or worse products. Our direct to home connect removes all middle men involved, thereby, ensuring that the milk your family drinks is not tampered.-
Though they were earlier active in a small geographical area, they have completed 500,000 orders in their two years of existence.
This translates to 600 tonnes of milk being delivered. The company, which earns 90 percent of their revenue through delivering milk, first - want to get the blueprint right first before [they] expand.- Currently, they cover 25% percent of Mumbai and doing 10K order per day, compared to (Big-Basket that does 3K orders per day) and will be present 100% of the Mumbai city by Aug 2018
Plan is to be full live in the entire Mumbai city by end of Aug

There are multiple players in the on-demand online grocery delivery service sphere in India. With names like Grofers and Big Basket, the market isn't saturated but it is still very competitive.
However, there is one firm which has chosen to specialise in one specific commodity which almost every household in India uses - Milk - and that is Supr Daily.
The subscription-based micro delivery start-up is currently active in a few neighbourhoods in Mumbai. Along with milk, it also delivers breakfast essentials like eggs, bread and butter.
A user can order the products through Call Centre team or own app noting down the quantity and the frequency of the delivery. Delivery schedules are flexible and can be changed as per needs.
Roles and Responsibilities :
- Responsible to drive city revenue targets through commissions and ad revenues.
- Managing Vendor operations team for on boarding and post sales services
- Plan and execute strategic projects being driven centrally.
- Sustaining and growing the relationships which translate to a growth in revenue for the city
- Maintaining a strong relationship with restaurant owners (Specifically Key Accounts of the City & Country) and advising them on issues related to the market and offering solutions on the same
- Handling a team of Area Sales managers, KAM- s, Vendor manager's and overall drive the Supply team in the location
- Manage the sales administration function, operational performance reporting, streamlining processes and systems wherever possible and advising senior management on maximizing business relationships and creating an environment where customer service can flourish, also managing a huge team
- Responsible for Coaching and mentoring the new recruits across the supply org in the location,
Desired Candidate:
- Graduate/PG with 4 years of experience in Business Development, Sales or Account Management
- A competent decision-maker with the ability to develop, own and build a strategic plan
- Effective communication skills
- Attitude & Aptitude for Sales
- Should be a team player, working alongside people from all walks of life
- Should be able to lead and mentor the team
