Swaniti Initiative - Team Leader/Social Development Specialist

Salary offered: 12 - 15 LPA

Swaniti Initiative has been chosen by the Haryana Govt. as the implementing agency of the Urban Livelihood Mission in 10 Districts of the State for a period of 2 years.

The Project aims to facilitate the formation of SHGs, their development and bank linkages, their federation at the area and city levels, training and capacity building and establishing links to Urban Local Bodies and to mitigate social, occupational and residential vulnerabilities as per Social Mobilization & Institution Development (SM&ID) component of National Urban Livelihood Mission (DAY- NULM).

Eligibility

Basic Criteria

- Master's or equivalent in Rural Development/Social Work/Economics/Sociology/other relevant disciplines

- Sector experience of more than 5 years

- Project Management experience of at least 3 years

Desired Criteria

- Prior experience in a Livelihood Mission Program

Duration: October 2017 - September 2019

Beyond the project duration, the Team Lead can become a part of the core team (based out of New Delhi), depending on his/her performance during the Project.

Key Responsibilities

(1) Lead a Team of 15-20 personnel, including office staffs and field coordinators.

(2) Facilitate the formation of SHGs, Area and Cluster Level Federations

(3) Ensure Bank linkages of the formed SHGs, ALFs and CLF

(4) Ensure timely training and capacity building of the staffs and community based organizations

(5) Prepare reports as per the requirements of the contract and Swaniti Initiative

(6) Adhere to timelines as outlined in the contract

(7) Any other work as deemed fit by Swaniti Initiative
