Job title: Deputy General Manager - Finance Reporting to: CFO Job location: Santacruz East, Mumbai Nature of duties: - Overall funds management - Asset Liability Management - Review of investment portfolio to monitor adherence to norms set out by RBI & Banks- own investment policy - Review daily report investment trades & ensure utilization of market opportunities - Compliance of RBI & other statutory regulations - Compliance & submission of periodic reports to RBI & other statutory authorities - Compliance & submission of MIS & control reports to management / board of directors - Controlling the liquidity position of the bank, including honouring CRR & SLR requirements - Consolidation of the books of accounts of the Bank & finalization of Annual Results - Financial analysis of the branches at the micro level & the Bank as whole, with respect to profitability, overall financial position & submitting vital inputs thereon to superiors - Ensure smooth functioning of the cost control mechanism & ways & means of cutting costs - Control on clearing outstanding (both receivable & payable) & take effective steps to keep these to the bare minimum - Maintenance of existing correspondent banking arrangements, identification of areas & possibilities of extension thereof, finalization of terms of agreements - Tax planning - Ensure that our account with RBI through which other co-operative banks are carrying out / operate for the inward / outward clearing transactions by virtue of this sub- membership are reconciled regularly and no entry is outstanding. - Regular interaction with CME members by way of active participation in CME meetings & providing suggestions for ensuring enhanced performance & exponential growth of the bank - Submission of necessary memoranda & reports on various issues concerning the areas of primary responsibilities - Regular interaction with Investment Committee, Audit Committee & other Committees of Board of Directors - Any other work as assigned by higher authorities from time to time. Qualifications and Experience: - The ideal candidate would be around 45 to 50 years of age with minimum 10-12 years of experience in a similar work profile. Candidate should be a graduate in any faculty. - Professional qualification such as C.A. or I.C.W.A., etc is mandatory.
