- The successful candidate will possess extensive finance expertise, outstanding strategic and analytical acumen, and will be a trusted advisor to key executive stakeholders; delivering timely, accurate and complete information accompanied by insightful analysis. The role holder will be responsible for the leadership of an interdisciplinary finance team in Bangalore supporting efforts in the US along with driving certain functions locally in Bangalore. - Leadership experience along with a strategic mindset to drive change management across the finance function required. - Will be a key member of the Finance Leadership . - Core areas of functional expertize required include: FP&amp;A: - Oversee FP&amp;A activities for all forecasting and budgeting input activities, including understanding and updating drivers and assumptions for revenue, operating expenses, and profitability metrics. - Design, implement and manage a strong FP&amp;A management reporting function (including standard monthly reports provided to the business as well as ad hoc reporting requested by the business) and operating model that is able to meet growing business needs for the organization. Accounting :&nbsp; - Oversee team of general accounting focused on core controllership activities including reconciliations, fixed asset accounting, and general close of the monthly ledger. Understanding of accounting operations, PSGL and US accounting standards is critical Regulatory Reporting :&nbsp; - Create, oversee and manage a team that supports bank regulatory reporting for the US, UK, Germany and Canada - Design and implement a strong process focused program that drives quality, consistency and automation for the reporting function; ensure strong knowledge of regulatory reporting requirements, while managing to required reporting timelines SOX / Internal Controls :&nbsp; - Establish and manage an overall SOX testing program to support quarterly and annual testing of controls - Facilitate and manage all SOC 1 reports applicable to the business - Provide overall governance, dashboard reporting, tracking against deliverables, and issue escalation timely General :&nbsp; - Build analytical capability and foster a commercial mindset in the Finance community in both India and US teams. - Work closely with other business units like Governance and Audit for collaboration to drive efficiency across finance functions. - Establish / manage ongoing program of procedure documentation, desk top procedures and training within the department related to all areas. - Responsible for leading a team of 15+ members and will be involved in the hiring/recruiting process. Experience Required : - 15+ years of financial management and analytical experience, including financial modeling, budgeting, and forecasting, with ideally 5+ years of experience in leading FP&amp;A function. - Must have experience across multiple finance and accounting functions and not restrictive to only FP&amp;A - Prior exposure in leading or managing the Operational Risk and SOX advisory team will be an added advantage. - Strong analytical skills, including the ability to identify and quantify the financial impact of opportunities - Proficiency in applicable Microsoft Office applications, Axiom EPM a plus, and Hyperion Essbase - Experience supporting a US or UK financial institution required - Experience building cross-functional teams in a global in-house center or outsourcing provider should be required - Demonstrated achievement in continuous improvement - Vendor management experience will be an added advantage - Candidate must show ability to communicate directly and work effectively in a complex work environment, including the ability to interact well with senior leaders in the organization, including business leads and executives - Strong work ethic, good judgment, initiative and attention to detail in order to anticipate future business needs and proactively engage with potential stakeholders - Possess strong working knowledge of financial concepts and major economic trends and understanding of finance, as well as ability to apply that knowledge strategically
