Position Summary :

The DGM/GM- Product is responsible for developing and driving the short term and long term product strategy. He/She owns the product road map and is responsible for building and management of the product throughout its lifecycle.

He/She works with the technology team and the management to drive product/service definition and design in line with the Company's business strategy.

Successful Performance requires :

- An experience in leading all phases of Product Management from research to deployment to success tracking

- Strong understanding of product lifecycle, products requirements definition, product management principles

- Data-driven approach for decision making

- Out of the box thinking

- Ability to adapt to the dynamic business environment

- Ability to work with cross functional teams and lead varios projects

Detailed Responsibilities :

Product Strategy and Management :

- Develop and drive the product vision, product strategy for creating a market platform for Suvidhaa.

- Own the product road map

- Collaborate with business to Develop, Design and Deploy end to end product solution- architecture, user experience, functionalities, issue prevention tools, user education tools, etc

- Manage the product through the entire product life cycle.

- Explore new product opportunities based on need gap analysis, consumer feedback

- Define, Track & Drive Key Product Performance Metrics

- Lead and manage the entire project team to deliver the strategy and product including interaction with other cross functional teams such as Marketing, Information Technology,Business Development and Sales & Operations.

- Develop and implement search functionality tools,liase with product recommendation engines, etc to increase traffic and revenues

- Source and license of third party data sources, technology and software and services related to development and distribution strategy.

- Develop Liasons with Payment gateways for enabling payments and defining the product strategy for payments.

- Develop enhancements to online and systems-embedded resources to minimize support levels and ensure adherence to best practices.

- Craft concepts for new product development according to requirements of category

- Continually work on enhancing the product to achieve viral growth

- Drive product related training to the stakeholders- new product, new functionality, etc

Product Analytics :

- Conduct focus groups/market research and use consumer usage data to drive product service/defination and refine product features.

- Analyse business and support issues to identify trends and suggest future enhancement and improvement opportunities

- Summarize common themes and drive action plan to address root cause for reoccurring support issues

- Use web analytic tools to derive insights and strategise product enhancements accordingly,

Desired Skills :

- Graduate/Post graduate :

- Must have 6- 8 experience in Product Management in an Ecommerce company or must have worked on an e-commerce based platform. Experience in online payments/transactions will be preferred

- Proven experience in owning and delivering successful consumer web product

- An experience in a start up will be an added advantage
