Job Description :
- Managing surveillance processes, such as designing, testing and calibrating surveillance models.
- Demonstrate knowledge of the compliance monitoring & surveillance methodology
- Working on implementation of new markets to surveillance tools, and identifying, articulating and solving data issues that arise
- Responsibility of daily post-trade surveillance monitoring on a timely basis to identify activity which may indicate possible market abuse or market integrity issues.
- Assisting with responding to regulatory requests for information.
- Identify real-time process improvements and suggest resolutions when applicable.
- Reviewing and drafting internal procedures, policies and guidance where required.
- Perform day-to-day activities like, Position Reconciliation, Positions Management etc.
- Provide necessary inputs to develop a system in New Exchange.
- Ability Trade/ Hedge Positions, whenever Required .
- Can help to manage other Routine Jobs .
- Responsible for Post Trade Analysis.
- Track changes to be implemented / Check new circulars etc.
- Can Automate some Routine Tasks for smooth operations
Skill required :
- At least 3 to 5 years of experience in a trade surveillance role at a financial institution (e.g. investment bank, broker, trading venue/exchange, proprietary trading firm or regulator).
- Experience in project management and good knowledge of Market Conduct/Market Abuse rules and regulatory frameworks.
- Proactive, ability to give strong attention to detail, and solid knowledge of financial markets.
- The ability to work and prioritize independently coupled with the judgment to involve management with issues as needed.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong Microsoft Excel/Google Sheet knowledge and skills.
- Working knowledge of coding languages such as SQL and Python.
- Some exposure to technical aspects of high frequency/algorithmic trading
