Position : AVP/VP Category Management Reporting to : Founder & CEO Job Location : Bangalore HQ ROLE DESCRIPTION: We are looking for a hands-on detail oriented highly motivated individual with excellent business acumen for leading the categories at SuprDaily. This role will be responsible for increasing the category penetration and profitability. - Spearhead strategy for categories and deliver differentiated business plan to drive profitability across the cities - Responsible for sustaining and growing the category revenue with P&L responsibilities - Study consumer behaviour to curate product portfolio and drive higher value per order - Build brand alliances to offer best prices on the platform - Build & Sustain Healthy relationships with Vendors / FMCG Players in the market - Collaborate with Product and Tech team to roll out initiatives - Responsible for man-power planning and building a pan India team for category management. JOB REQUIREMENTS: - Relevant work experience of 10-15 years with minimum 1-2 years of category management experience in an e-commerce company. - Experience in Grocery category is a must - A competent decision-maker with the ability to source and curate category portfolio - An eye for detail who has a sense to run the operations seamlessly - Ability to analyse data for business reporting - MBA (Tier 1 Institutes) with proven negotiation skills and effective communication skills - Identifies, builds and uses a wide network of contacts with people at all levels, internally and externally - High ethical standards
