The Supply Chain Planning Specialist is to align plans between manufacturing, transport, construction and sales India to enable project sales.
- Coordinate between manufacturing/sales/construction/transport to meet customers' demands while balancing supply chain constraints and maintaining visibility to the financial impacts.
- Facilitating regional sales forecast into the global numbers
- Evaluate projects in the pipeline in terms of opportunity costs and direct financial impacts to the portfolio when considering the full end to end value chain
- Create, accept and process Inquires related to demand, transport, etc.
- Closely cooperate with the country and sales business unit for all main components on production plans and stock levels
- Initially responsible for current tasks and accountability and look for ways to improve and drive improvement projects
- Release projects for production
- Will have to consider financial impacts of plan changes, inventory, cost of cash, transport costs, duties between countries, and price from different factories
- Maintain and support full transparency across manufacturing and throughout the supply chain
- Other tasks as assigned to meet business needs.
Must have:
- Strong stakeholder management and project management skill are a must
- Four-year university degree or technical education in engineering, supply chain, business administration or combination of education and experience
- 8-12 years of relevant experience in supply chain management
- Demonstrated personal commitment and focus on correct data as well as the ability to focus on details without losing the overall perspective
- Strong technical background, understanding and interest, preferably in logistics (supply chain), finance, engineering
- Ability to understand and analyze complex supply chain related issues including the financial impacts
