Sr. No Expected End Results Major Activities

1. Sourcing support for services related to Operations to achieve QCDD objectives - Services strategy to ensure timely, cost effective, efficient support to Operations for existing and new rollouts.

- Identification and development of partners in IME/SMS domain.

- Maintain pipeline of potential IMEs for each circle/region

- Develop RFP/Contrats in cloe coordination with User group /Legal/ Finance , negotiations, Purchase orders and Contract Management

- Drive cost discovery using tools like zero based costing, benchmarking

- Define negotation strategy for specific project rollouts

- Develop and rollout implementation guidelines to circle teams

- Lead negotiations with IME/SMS partners

- Ensure timely management approvals and release of Purchase Orders for IME/OME/SMS services

- Support user deptts to lauch various projects related to the vertical

2. Business Partner Relationship Management through structured Contract Governance to ensure satisfied partners with enhanced VSAT score


- Structure and develop Contract Governance program including templates and guidelines for partners

- Supplier performance management through score cards and supplier classification

- Resolving queries related to various business aspects through payment concern room

- Ensure timely KPIs sign off and CPH reviews and sign off with partners

- Vendor reco as per timelines and process

- Drive partners improvement through structured improvement plans

- Understand issues faced by circles teams wih various partners and ensure resolution of the same

- Driving Partner performance improvement through structured reviews/audits

3. To help circle SCM teams to improve eficiency and and delivery of function - Conflict resolution across team members to enhance synergies

- Cascading corporate policies and processes to circles

- Helping circle teams find solutions on functional escalation and queries

- Training SCM IME Managers on processes and systems of IME function

- Develop IME Audit methodologies and templates and ensring regular audits by circle teams

4. Ensure Partners complainces - Control and tracking of Contracts, bank Gaurantees etc.

- Ensure Statutory compliance of partners

- COC training and compliance by partners

- Develop and roll out Contract addendums for managing changes in current contracts

- Ensure closure of disputes with Partners in close consultation with Legal teams

5. Escalation Management - Resolving queries from Partners, circle SCM and any other functions

- Management of Payment Concern Room on delayed payment escalations

- Develop a sustained two way communication with Partner community, understand their concerns

6. Audit Management and Compliancs - Ensure compliance with the company laid process and avoid any non compliance

- In case of any non compliance, ensure timely closure with proper RCA, Corrective and preventive actions

- Improve current process and define new ones on periodic basis

- Sustaining TQM culture in the function by deploying tools like PDCA,DWM.

Skills & Knowledge

Minimum Educational Qualifications to perform this job B.E. in any discipline. Specialisation in Materials Management will be added advantage

Skills / Competencies Analytical skills, knack for figures, people management, able to articulate, assertive, business outcome driven and solution mindset

Knowledge Required Throughout knowledge of Materials Management - Vendor Development, Strategic Sourcing, Negotiations, Tendering, Supplier Quality, Costing, Contract Management, Vendor Performance Management

Relevant Experience (Functions, roles, duration) 7-15 years of experience across various functions of Material Management

Hiring Pool (industries, specific organizations from where targeted) Services sector drawn from Telecom and infrastructural companies, however the person can also be from FMCG, Consumenr durables and Automotive
