Supply Chain Management Role - Biotechnology Firm

Our client is one of the leading biotechnology firms with a speciality products manufacturing and providing services like CRO and CMO.

Job Responsibilities :

- Manage the supply chain for the organization and utilize the latest supply chain tools and automate the process wherever possible.

- Collaborate with other functions and stakeholders for need identification. Establish performance metrics for measurement, comparison, or evaluation of factors affecting the supply chain.

- Managing inventory at all sites of the company ensuring reduction in carrying costs and minimizing stock-outs.

- Analyzes current processes and suggests improvements to increase the efficiency of the supply chain and profitability for the company.

- Optimize shipment and transportation costs. Assesses the need for material-handling equipment and staffing; makes recommendations to ensure efficient loading, unloading, movement, and storage of materials.

- Negotiates prices and other terms with suppliers, vendors, and/or shipping companies.

- Monitors the performance of suppliers, assessing their ability to meet quality and delivery requirements; identifies and qualifies new suppliers in collaboration with other departments.

Candidate Profile:

- B. E./ B. Tech

- Minimum 12-15 years of experience in Supply Chain management

- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.

- Thorough understanding of company products and logistics.

- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
