Skills : Supply Chain, Inventory Management, Demand Forecasting, Stakeholder Management, Distribution.

Education : MBA from Tier 1 institutions only

Batch : 2008-2014

Industry : Only from FMCG, Food processing or Retail.

Roles and Responsibilities :

1. Drive horizontal efforts to improve working capital efficiency, forecast accuracy, service quality and overall business planning effectiveness.

2. Able to develop constructive and effective relationships with direct report team and cross- functional partners; able to maintain credibility and presence within the broader business.

3. Drives top-down and bottom-up recurring inventory plans with the stakeholder team using a scientific Inventory Domain expertise resulting in the development, communication, and execution of inventory plans that achieve financial goals at product categorical levels.

4. Works deeply with Supply Chain team to deliver on designs and capacities to maintain service standards prescribed from time to time in short mid and long term in an ever evolving network footprint.

5. Work closely with Product and Engineering planting deep domain into the systems to create scalable decision making platforms

6. Communicates periodic inventory position to stakeholders and re-forecast in- season/recurring open-to-buy plans based on weekly, monthly and seasonal performance andprovide recommendations that improve inventory productivity to maximize Cash Flow, InStock and Service

7. Supports the implementation of company programs, procedures, methods and practices to promote new direction

8. Oversees training and development of employees directly and indirectly managed and makes effective staffing decisions.

9. Provides coaching, direction and leadership support to employees in order to achieve department, company and customer results.

10. Establishes and maintains visibility within the department and with Stakeholders and influencing them factually using Science of Inventory Planning

11. Monitors operational statistics, reports trends, variances and issues, and takes appropriate action.

12. Leverage expert knowledge, research to establish, implement and maintain best practices methodologies for inventory management.
