Supply Chain Business Manager - Semiconductor


Our Client is a leading MNC in the Semiconductor space and has a presence across 17+ countries. They are looking for Supply Chain Business Manager Program Lead based out of Bangalore.


Reporting to Sr. Group Manager, you will be responsible for:

1. Monitoring annual plans to meet objectives in relation to supplier performance and striving for continuous improvement to achieve objectives

2. Managing supplier performance through score cards and other criteria

3. Owning responsibility for material delivery, inventory level management for production, and managing supplier capacity to ensure no line down, including raising of escalations for material availability

4. Ensuring the best quality of materials, raising escalations in case of quality mistakes, and following standards or processes to ensure quality compliance

5. Striving for best methods usage in relation to procurement, inventory control and manufacturing strategies

6. Driving continuous improvement, root cause analysis and corrective actions for problem solving

7. Optimizing the best quality for materials in highly technical or complex new products or parts design using supplier's expertise

8. Managing demand forecast for on-time material delivery, focusing on supply challenges which ensures demands of internal and external stakeholders are met

9. Collaborating with cross functional teams such as procurement, quality, manufacturing, finance, product support to ensure smooth functioning

10. Working with suppliers on the improvement of the materials manufacturing for best quality and timely delivery

11. Managing contracts with suppliers, studying the market for trends, costs and risks that are present

- Ideally you are an Engineer (Mechanical/Electrical/Industrial) with preferred degree of MBA, and you have at least 10 years of experience in Supply Chain, Operations and Manufacturing in a production or planning environment.


- You possess complete understanding all the (COTS) Commercial off the shelf items, OEM, Proprietary/Electrical/Electronic components and supplier handling.


- You are keen on supporting and establishing world-class supply chain operations. You have solid understanding with semiconductor, Electrical equipment Manufacturing or high technology supply management practices.


- You are an excellent communicator with a strong focus on supporting customers.
