Responsibilities :

- Development and management of category. To keep adding new features in website related to category so as to make it more users friendly and technical.

- Ensure all nursery plants are properly accessioned and labeled in concordance with the plant accessions and nomenclature database.

- Maintain and/or grow all nursery plants (seedlings, liners, finished specimens) to industry standards.

- Responsibility for the online sales.

- Responsible for the development and performance of the online business working with key people within the organization as well as external 3rd party agencies working to aggressive growth targets on an annual basis

- Organize nursery plants to optimize growing conditions for all taxa.

- Planning and implementing various promotional activities on site to increase the sales. Coordination with the marketing head for all promotional activity.

- Perform routine category management tasks as identified but not limited to winterizing and dewinterizing appropriate nursery structures, maintaining greenhouse systems and associated equipment, preventing containerized plant blow-over, and managing drainage, runoff, and erosion problems around category spaces.

- Develop and implement the strategy for the development and management of the eCommerce business.

- Compare with all e commerce sites on daily basis for the sale and promotions and participation in their promotional deals/offers.

- Will be managing a team and will be accountable for cataloging and driving relationships with channel partners.

- Coordination with other departments for Order processing & fulfillment, Marketing & Sales for branding & promotion, GAD team for UI / UX.

Knowledge, Skills & Expertise required for the job :

- Should have experience in landscape design and space planning.

- Should be aware of plant variants (flowering/fruit trees/indoor /exotic/seasonal)

- Should be an organized and detail-oriented manager, skilled in ensuring that the efforts of all team members are in alignment with projects and organizational goals

Skill Set Required :

- Cataloguing

- P&L Head - Deciding on SP based on Sales & Profit Targets for category.

- Planning and implementing Marketing strategies for - Plants Category- (online,offline)

- Track and maintain all operations metrics related to sales, margins, order cancellations and resolving seller issues.

- Will be accountable for the entire order cycle from order sales till order fulfillment packaging, sourcing, cataloguing etc.)
