Supplier Manager - Quality - Industrial Product Firm (14-18 yrs)
- Lead and Executing new component introduction (NCI) and requalification under alternate suppliers (dual source) through PPAP process
- Monitoring supplier product and process quality of suppliers
- Adhering to the compliance for supplier facing processes
- Audit management- Scheduling the executing the post-production audits at suppliers (including tier II suppliers) for special processes, critical parts, clean parts, EHS compliance audits.
- On-boarding new suppliers based on technical reviews, resource and technical capabilities
- Monitor supplier performance through capacity analysis to help sourcing/buying team to identify the early risks and mitigating them
- Managing new products and suppliers in the region for driving sourcing growth
- Establishing positive relationships and working closely with sourcing leaders to manage and implement supplier/engineering changes, new product introductions
- Liaising with global sourcing/supplier quality team for regional growth Engage suppliers through top leadership meetings under Supplier Engagement Initiatives.
- Candidate should be from hardcore engineering companies with knowledge of six sigma tools and processes.
