Marketing function management
- Develop short- and long-term plans and budgets for the marketing/communications/ public relations program for both Digital and non-Digital marketing activities, monitor progress, assure adherence and evaluate performance
- Assists in creation of effective marketing strategies including value proposition development, brand positioning, pricing, branding, channel and communications strategy
- Oversee departmental budget utilisation and periodically report MIS to senior management
- For individual projects, assist in developing pricing strategies by studying market factors, competitor strategies and share it with relevant stakeholders
Brand Development
- Identifies and evaluates new markets and partnership opportunities through networking, attendance and participation with various industry and professional groups and networking associations
- Through subordinates devise and implement brand standards related to brand identity (logos, colours, palettes, stationary and other intellectual property)
- Brand tie-ups and relations, leveraging cross-brands to add value to Sunteck as a Brand
- Manage and monitor intellectual property rights across brand assets
- Create collaterals to be used for brand building
- Maintain all websites, keeping relevant information current, ensuring adequate data is made available to public in compliance with internal & regulatory compliance requirements (x. Share price data, property sale data, disclaimers etc)
Market research and assessment
- Analyze findings of market research studies and provide inputs to the marketing plan to determine target business lines, new customer/market segments, new geographic expansion opportunities etc
- Keep track of local, national, and international factors affecting the buying and selling of real estate and commercial spaces; Update senior management as need arises
Public Relations & Corporate Communications
- Responsible for editorial direction, design, production and distribution of all organizational publications
- Coordinate media interest in the organization and ensure regular contact with target media and appropriate response to media requests; Plan media communications and manage them
- Prepare and coordinate materials for real estate trade shows and promotional activities targeting real estate funds, private equity companies, investors and customers
- Oversee content development for promotional materials, website etc
- Oversee company website information/contents, look and feel ; Add new content on continual basis
- Oversee corporate communications activities through Head, Corporate Communications including:
a) external communications
b) internal communications
c) public relations efforts
d) selection, appointment and performance monitoring of marketing consultants and external vendors
- Support brand building through professional networking
- Plan, coordinate and oversee stakeholder relationship through events & promotions- broker meets/off-sites/parties etc
Marketing & Promotional activities
- Plan, coordinate and organize promotional activities, trade shows, experiential marketing etc, to promote specific projects in line with projects, sales and marketing plans
Stakeholder management
- Collaborate with Projects and Planning & Control to identify the risks associated with the opportunity
- Assist with and support Sunteck's involvement in various marketing networks including coordinating business development and marketing activities via these relationships (Ex. Internet based real estate channels & websites)
- Collaborate/consult with department heads to plan advertising
- Oversee relationship with vendors, graphic designers, printers, mailers and others (associated for creation & distribution of marketing collaterals)
People Management
- Monitor the marketing sub- function's performance viz. effectiveness of marketing activities, CRM management/feedback, MIS and reports etc.
- Recruit, assess, train, mentor, develop and manage direct reporting staff
- To build capability in the team by reviewing performance of subordinates on a continuous basis and provide them coaching on desired aspects
