I. Purpose :&nbsp; This position is responsible for planning, deploying and managing annual IT strategy viz. enterprise and information architecture, infrastructure and application software management, vendor management etc required to support the business operations across Sunteck and its group of companies. II. Key Responsibilities :&nbsp; - IT function management- policies, processes and budgets - Finalize the annual IT policy and plan in line with the business strategy in a timely manner - Identify and recommend potential upgrades of IT infrastructure based on organization needs to Top Management for review and approval - Drive the implementation of a knowledge retrieval system for effective decision making across levels, functions and group companies - Direct the development, implementation, review and own all IT usage policies, standards, access rights, process manuals, risk manual, business continuity plans, checklist etc for the IT department in accordance with IT best practices - Review and finalize the annual IT budget based on an annual business plan by working closely with the senior management in collaboration with Finance - Direct and oversee the implementation of specific IT projects as directed by the Top Management from time to time - Oversee current and accurate inventory of technology hardware, software and resources Stakeholder Management : - Develop and drive Service Level Agreements (SLA) with various functions for IT infrastructure and application/network support and monitor their adherence - Drive collaboration between the function, other business functions by leveraging IT to drive their functional processes efficiently and to proactively assess future IT requirements - Collaborate and support internal/external audit teams in the identification of IT security threats and risks and drive implementation of the finalized mitigation plans - Coordinate with external vendors for acquiring and administering computer &amp; telecommunications software, networks and information systems Em effectiveness: - Develop and drive mechanisms to ensure fast, secure, cost effective and 24/7 availability of IT systems and the support for such systems - Track and monitor return on investment on IT spends and control expenditures so as to drive optimization of IT budget - Ensure timely trouble shooting of technology issues and tracking of status of technology related complaints People Management : - Recruit, assess, train, mentor, develop and manage direct reporting staff - Build function and team capability by reviewing the performance of subordinates on a continuous basis and provide them coaching on desired aspects - Provide training through external sources or train employees/users on specific IT requirements (ERP, HRMS etc) - Continuously update and train employees on IT policies and risks Quantitative : - Budget adherence and total cost of ownership (TCO) - Return on IT investment - SLA adherence - TAT for uptime-downtime Quantitative : - Budget adherence and total cost of ownership (TCO) - Return on IT investment - SLA adherence - TAT for uptime-downtime Qualitative - Implementation of an information retrieval system - IT risk management/ Business continuity planning/ Disaster recovery planning - IT helpdesk effectiveness IV. Experience Essential - 10 to 15 years experience with minimum 5 years of experience in similar role, managing IT infrastructure of a similar sized organization - Strong networking, data management and IT risk management experience Desired : - IT certifications like CCNP, MCSA etc - Experience in working with a group with multiple businesses - Experience of ERP implementation - Experience in identifying and managing IT risks and threats - Thorough understanding of business processes and IT checkpoints
