The person should ideally have &gt;20 years- experience with core knowledge in TQM concepts and implementation in any engineering organization set-up. Must have experience of minimum 2~3 years as Head Of Quality Department in a manufacturing company - Ideally should be from automotive industry background and should be conversant with product, process and system level TQM in automotive manufacturing organization - The person should have expertise in most of the tools and QMS processes - DOE, FMEA, 7QC tools, 8D, APQP, PPAP, vendor quality, up/down stream SCM quality control etc. - The person should have done adequate work in dealing with external certification agencies for certifications for product, process, and environmental related works. - It is a plus to have Six Sigma black belt certified - It is also good that the person has Lean Management exposure for material management, with manufacturing quality tools as this position is expected to oversee, multiple functions being a senior position in organization hierarchy. - The person is expected to be a value-driven, result oriented leader capable of successfully managing a team and working with employees at all levels of the organization. - The person should have good interpersonal skill and ability to guide and motivate the team and augment the team work effectiveness in all respect. - The person is expected to do selection, development and assessment of staff including training, setting objectives and holding team members accountable, including progressive discipline. - Develop key performance indicators to measure the effectiveness of overall supply chain operation of management operations - Should have implemented standards and certification for organization - ISO, OSHAS, - Qualification : Graduate/PostGraduate Engineer in Electronics ( should have never studied Diploma in engineering ) or Mechatronics - Experience : Automotive Industry (automatic lines, only from OE or First Tier ) OR Mechatronics/Robotics OR Air Craft - Added information : it helps if candidate has exposure to managing a Green Field project in his/her career
