We are looking for a Product Manager who is passionate about building products for consumer internet companies and excels in blending creative thinking with quantitative analysis.
As a Product Manager at Sulekha, you will:
- Generate new ideas that grow market share, improve customer experience and drive growth
- Challenge all members of cross-functional team (engineering, design, etc.) to think boldly and creatively and then to funnel that energy into concrete products and execution plans.
- Drive definition of and execution against a product go-to-market plan, including phasing and marketing
- Gain a deep understanding of customer experience, identify and fill product gaps
- Translate product strategy into detailed requirements and prototypes
- Scope and prioritize activities based on business and customer impact
- Work closely with development teams to ensure quick deliveries using optimal resources
- Communicate throughout the product lifecycle to ensure key stakeholders and senior management are kept updated on milestones, issues, and product status
- Develop a deep understanding of our users: their problems, their needs, their desires
- Manage prioritization and trade-offs among customer experience, technical constraints and business drivers.

Product Manager - Web/Mobile
Roles & Responsibilities:
We would like a deeply hands-on, experienced product development person to work and deliver on these job expectations:
Web/Mobile Product Lifecycle, Execution & Engagement (~60%)
Web/Mobile Product Roadmap:
- Map the short-term (quarter), annual and 3 year roadmap to build delightful products and features for Sulekha's PC website and mobile web - that are used in the tens of millions each month
- Lead the product thinking for a long-term product evolution, while balancing short-term priorities of generating leads from consumers for SMB customers
Web/Mobile User Experience:
- Advocate and implement a superlative - PC/Mobile user experience- by implementing the product vision on PC and its related avatars like large screen tablets
- Evolve the PC web user experience to be a far more nuanced and detail oriented - vis-- -vis the mobile web that may be markedly easier for different kinds of local services, based on the category
Web/Mobile Execution:
Define the workflow of PC Web and Mobile web applications through wireframes, mockups, prototypes, ROCs and achieve feature/platform launches on time
User Engagement:
Drive multiple methods to make users engage with the product - and achieve greater delight
Testing & Feedback:
Continuously test the mobile web product on a plethora of devices and platforms, besides looking at user experience data flowing through thousands of daily user experiences (and achieve significant standardization of user delight)
PC Web & Mobile Growth & Others (~40%)
Growth identification:
- Analyzing PC Web and Mobile web usage through both data and commissioned primary research to identify channels/avenues/sources of increasing growth in terms of new user acquisition (even if PC penetration is flat)
- Working with both internal marketing and external marketing teams to influence them and achieve the mobile app growth objectives
Product Manager - Web/Mobile
Competitive Analytics:
Measure and benchmark Sulekha performance against both existing Indian competitors and other local service providers in USA/Europe/Asia etc. for the PC Web and Mobile Web separately
Skills:
Professional
- Experience with minimum 2-3 years in Web/mobile product management
- Consumer mobile product development experience is an added advantage
- Hands-on coding experience is a plus
- Project/Program management experience of at least 2+ years in the past
Personal :
- Track record of delivery, goal oriented along with ability to sets clear priorities and meets deadlines
- Positive, initiative driven, motivating and a natural leader
- Result oriented, entrepreneurial and self-motivated
- Ambitious and flexible
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
