Roles & Responsibilities - You will serve as an in-house corporate, commercial, regulatory, and compliance counsel and handle all legal contracts, matters, and projects. - Contract drafting, reviewing, and negotiating for the Company and templatizing agreements / LOIs / terms sheets wherever required. - Advising the Company on various substantive law issues, including those involving FEMA, FDI compliance, Companies Act, Medical Consulting and Medical Devices, etc., along with other general corporate and commercial advisories. - Engage with internal and external stakeholders for assessment, discussion on, and finalisation of issues/matters/mandates requiring legal assistance to the Company, including those involving capital raise, audits, due diligence, etc. - Draft and finalise responses to legal notices, claims, and government notices received by the Company and prepare & implement litigation strategy, including identifying the facts and preparing arguments, engaging external counsel for Company's representation before all forums, tribunals, courts, government authorities, etc., wherever required; - Liaise with government and regulatory agencies, bodies, and other authorities to obtain and renew relevant permissions, consents, and licenses and ensure compliance with all applicable terms of such permissions, consents, and licenses; - Generally, be a part of the legal team and assist with such items as may be assigned from time to time. Whom are we looking for - LLB / LLM; PQE - 5-6 years in a similar role. - Excellent communication, interpersonal, and team management skills. - Prior start-up experience is an advantage
