SugarBox is a first-of-its-kind platform in the world that empowers users without an internet connection to use Apps and enables Apps to work even in places with bad or no internet / network coverage.

We are working on making internet services more available, reliable, affordable, and contextual for everyone. Over the next 2 years, our goal is to transform the travel experience for 300 mn commuters monthly, unlocking over 2.5 billion hrs of digital consumption, where otherwise Apps don- t work reliably, due to unstable or inexistent cellular connectivity.

Location - Bangalore/ Mumbai

Role Type - Individual contributor / People Manager (progressively)

About the job:

This person will lead and partner with one or more categories from the app ecosystem. S/He shall evangelize about how partnering with SugarBox can unlock opportunities for the apps. The leader and the team will identify opportunities and create winnable value propositions to expand and scale the list of apps available from infotainment/OTT to SugarBox Network users by helping them solve technical problems while creating revenue streams for the organization.

SugarBox has developed a patented hyper local CDN technology which can distribute digital services even in patchy / no internet scenarios making connectivity and access to the content reliable, accessible, and affordable. The apps can leverage the SugarBox network to increase engagement, consumption among users and enhance monetization. Roughly 300mn users are expected to use SugarBox network to access and consume digital services.

Responsibilities:

- Develop a category expansion plan, aligned with SugarBox's business strategy.

- Identify, evaluate, negotiate and manage partnerships from the relevant categories that can involve product, marketing, commercial and technology components.

- Understand partner requirements and create innovative value propositions across customer segments and/or industry verticals in collaboration with the partners.

- Develop, define, and execute joint marketing and GTM programs in collaboration with marketing and partners.

- Understand the technical requirements of our partners and work closely with the internal development team for smooth

integration and to guide the direction of our product offerings.

- Manage complex negotiations and serve as a liaison to the wider cross-functional team within SugarBox.

Qualifications:

- 5-10 years strategic partnerships experience within OTT / Infotainment.

- End-to-end negotiation experience, including identifying, developing, and executing successful partnerships involving SDK / API integration

- Self-starter, who is able to handle multiple competing priorities and operate successfully under nil/negligible supervision in a lean, fast-paced organisation.

- Demonstrated entrepreneurial drive and ownership to achieve goals.

- Comfortable driving conversations with and influencing the C-level from Business / Product / Engineering at the same time managing the day to day partner operations.
