Successor to Chief Financial Officer - Industrial Conglomerate (14-28 yrs)
Our client is a flagship business of very well known USD 25bn American Industrial Conglomerate, that has a portfolio of diverse businesses operating in India, each getting managed and run independently in India. They have been present in India since 1995 and have further strengthened their presence with two acquisitions in the recent past. The business includes a state of art manufacturing facility that caters to the domestic as well as export requirements. The revenue projections are around $300mn by 2020. This business is headquartered in Mumbai they have a market coverage for India, and South Asia.
Keeping in line with the growing business (more than 30% y-o-y), the finance division is also gearing up to support and play a role of a strong business partner. Thus, the finance division is being reorganized and the management has identified a need to on board an astute finance processional as a Successor to the CFO (titled as Head FP&A and Commercial). In this role, the incumbent will not only be a business partner to 3 divisions (Manufacturing, Automation/Projects, and Services) but will also be on track be a successor to the current Director Finance (CFO).
Salient aspects of the role:
- A mission-critical role, heading the entire business finance portfolio of the organization, including strategy and execution across 3 divisions (Manufacturing, Automation/Project and Services).
- An individual would have the opportunity of leading a critical function of the organization through their hyper-growth stage, with an opportunity to be elevated as the India Finance leader in the near term.
Requisite Skills and Experience:
- Around 12-15 years of overall Finance and Accounting experience with strong exposure to FP&A/Business partnering/ Commercial Finance function for the last 5 years in growth-focused engineering/manufacturing organization.
- Proven experience of working across FP&A and Plant & Management Accounting
