About the Role:

The Payroll Subject Matter Expert (SME) is responsible for Payroll Functionality of the platform and providing support on payroll matters for all our clients. This position will assist in ensuring the administration and compliance of client policies, accuracy of payroll runs and have a strong understanding of region specific regulations. This position requires a high level of confidentiality and a high degree of accuracy and attention to detail.

Job Descrption:

- Effectively manage and communicate payroll related issues.

- Ensure that payrolls reports are accurately recorded. Investigate and resolve any issues and offer practical improvement methodologies.

- Ensure compliance on all national pay regulations. Provide assistance to Technology team in implemeting those requirements in the product.

- Assist in guiding and directing stakeholders in payroll related questions and procedures.

- Establish audit procedures.

- Ensure compliance to all Standard Operating Procedures.

Experience, Skills and Knowledge:

- 4 - 7 years of related progressive experience.

- Must have working knowledge of computerized payroll systems and applicable payroll laws and regulations.

- Certified Payroll Professional preferred

- Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Word

- Must be able to convey information and ideas clearly.

- Must be flexible and be able to evaluate and prioritize work based on Team needs.

- Must be able to multi-task.

- Must work well in a Team environment

- Must be effective in handling problems in the workplace, including anticipating, preventing, identifying and solving problems as necessary.

- Must be able to prioritize departmental functions in order to meet due dates and deadlines.

- Must be able to maintain a high level of confidentiality and a high degree of accuracy and attention to detail.
