Subject Matter Expert/Content Manager - Education (10-20 yrs)
Key activities & responsibilities
- To build relationships with Business Development colleagues and direct with employers to source, shape and prepare business material for online content, assessments and challenges
- To shape and prepare employer input so that it is high quality content useable by academic colleagues in their learning materials and assessments in line with our pedagogic model
- To champion the value of employer content for effective learning and professional development with Business Development and academic colleagues
- To monitor the continuing relevance and currency of business content on the platform and update as required
- To update records of the learning resources from employers and contact with employers on the relevant databases
- To prepare online learning materials in your own field
Qualifications and Experience
- A minimum of a master's degree in a relevant field eg Computer Science, Engineering or Equivalent
- Subject matter expertise and practical knowledge in one or more of the following areas:
- Informational Technology/Systems
- Computer Sciences with data sciences specialisation
- Cybersecurity
- Machine Learning and Artificial Intelligence
- Data Analytics
- Blockchain
- Business Management
- An understanding of effective work-based or practice-based learning
- Familiarity with the process of online course development
- A network of industry contacts would be an advantage
- Excellent written and verbal communications
