Associate Director - Structured Finance Analysis - BFSI/FI & Securitization

We are looking for a Structured Finance Analyst - Experienced in Indian Market (Only), for a leading Credit Rating Agency from Mumbai

Designation : Associate Director Level

Location : Mumbai

The candidate will be responsible for assigning and reviewing ratings on various structured finance transaction types including ABS, MBS, MF Securitization, etc which involves modelling cash flows, analyzing collateral, preparing credit committee reports, and communicating credit opinions to investors and issuers.

This person will assume a lead role in rating of structured finance transactions, authoring market commentary and related research, serving as a credit committee member in reviewing and assigning ratings to SF transactions and participating in criteria and cash flow model projects.

Responsibilities :

- Assist in development/testing/implementation of models used in the ratings process

- Analyzing critical credit, legal and structural elements of structures

- Producing quality internal and external written reports including credit committees, criteria, special reports and market commentary

- Communicating Rating methodology and criteria to issuers and investors

- Leading and/or supporting research projects

- Maintaining assigned rating relationships

Position requirements :

- Strong working knowledge of the credit, legal and structural risks of Transactions in Securitisation market, or alternatively, experience in the credit analysis and underwriting of consumer loans and or consumer loan portfolios.

- Prior modelling, programming (VBA, SAS, R and/or Python) or database management a plus

- Self-motivated, and able to manage timelines across many disparate projects

- Willingness and ability to quickly learn new concepts and techniques across a variety of topics

- Proficiency in Microsoft Word/Excel

- Candidates should have at least 3+years experience for an analyst level and 4+ years- experience in structured finance, consumer loan origination or credit analysis or related fields.

- Post Graduate/Professional degree is a must, preferably in quantitative analysis.
