Structured Credit Trading Role - BFSI

What will you be doing?

- Provide high quality fundamental credit analysis on the Obligors to loan portfolio financing trades

- Identify major red flags amongst large volumes of information and making robust/defensible recommendations about risk rankings and valuation marks

- Produce informative analysis and presentation materials at a portfolio level, synthesising key information into customised graphs/charts with concise, tailored commentary about portfolio features and trends

- Identify key trends/patterns in data and crafting these into pertinent commentary to - tell the story- of the profile and performance of a loan portfolio

- Analyse key data / news sources for the private credit market (e.g. Preqin, Private Debt Investor, Deloitte Alternative Lender Deal Tracker) and track key parameters of the overall market such as fundraising, AUM and dry powder.

- Monitor key loan structure parameters - leverage, LTV/equity cushion, subordination, covenants, EBITDA adjustments, pricing per unit of risk

What we're looking for:

- Highly analytical, strong numeracy skills and experience in analysing financials including management accounts and compliance certificates

- Strong proficiency with Excel, particularly data analysis tools, advanced formulae and the ability to produce customised combo charts tailored to the specific context

- Research and fact-based approach with ability to reason decisions through and justify recommendations with key data points and relevant qualitative considerations

- Strong attention to detail, including ability to quickly & effectively - scrub- data sets to identify any issues or errors before they are used in presentations to risk and senior management
