CURRENT TECHNOLOGY AND VISION : Technology is a key component in realizing the vision and distributing financial services at scale. The current tech stack has been built through a combination of inorganic and organic development. This largely supports the current products viz. supply chain finance and embedded loans. The key design principles that we have followed are : - Owning tech (instead of renting) for key components to maintain flexibility - Linking to partner portals for commodity tech to reduce time to market - Building on Open-Source Platforms - Combination of on-roll and off-roll personnel Over the next year, we plan to roll out several products (both credit and non-credit) viz. business cards, deep tier financing using blockchain, collections as a service, FX management, banking stack etc. At the same time, we will be integrating into the ERPs of the Start-Ups for straight through processing and building a supply chain finance exchange where various lenders (Banks, NBFCs, Corporates, HNIs) can participate. CANDIDATE REQUIREMENTS : We are looking for a technology leader to achieve and build on the vision with the following attributes that we believe are essential for success in this role: - Passionate about the Indian Start-up eco system - Practical wisdom - to navigate through complex decisions around build vs own, low code vs full development, acquisitions of key capabilities, off roll vs on roll etc. - Working knowledge of Regulatory Compliance, Information Security etc. - Ability to lead team by example - deep knowledge of engineering and architecture - Good understanding of financial products - Creative thinker with a penchant for latest technologies - Humility and Frugality - Partnership approach - Ownership EXPERIENCE : 10 to 20 years of total experience, and currently in a technology leadership role at a Fintech. Instrumental in building and scaling systems and teams.
